The Onstott Group has been retained to recruit an Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer for a leading publicly traded
company. He/She will have full responsibility for directing the
companys financial activities as well as some administrative functions.
The individual will be responsible for all accounting activities,
internal and external reporting, treasury, risk management, and tax
matters, as well as credit and collections.
The individual will have gained relevant and transferable experience as
Chief Financial Officer in a publicly traded company with revenues in
excess of $500 million. Senior financial leadership experience is
expected in an operationally oriented service business, or a process
manufacturing company. In either case, experience with multiple
locations and/or distribution related requirements. Solid grounding and
in depth ability in accounting, internal and external reporting, as well
as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is required. The proven ability to deal
effectively with Wall Street, sources of funding and the financial
community in general is necessary. Additional skills and experience is
expected in acquisition due diligence, with enterprise information
technology issues and with administrative function leadership.
The Onstott Group has been retained to recruit the Finance Director,
Controller for a profitable Consumer Packaged Goods Company with
revenues in excess of $500M.
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director, Controller is responsible
for the monthly and year-end closing process, establishing a
collaborative relationship with external advisors, Internal Audit, and
the Audit Committee. Primary responsibilities included General Ledger,
Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and Risk Management and completion and
publication of the Annual Report.
Required experience:
Established record of integrity and commitment to compliance, quality

Broad business acumen and seasoned experience addressing complex
business issues
Excellent financial analysis and assessment skills
Ability to lead and influence others at all levels in an organization
Strong process management orientation and experience in evaluating
process and implementing changes to improve efficiency/effectiveness/
cost management, etc
Strong professional administrative skills in managing time, projects,
deadlines and budgets
15+ years experience within finance with at least five years in
accounting management
Bachelors Degree- Accounting or Finance (MBA a strong plus) or
equivalent.
