The Onstott Group has
been retained to recruit a seasoned and proven President for the U.S.
division of a foreign-owned company. Our client designs and manufactures
highly engineered products for defense and commercial use
This is a P&L role (not simply a head of sales); our client has multiple
manufacturing facilities established in the U.S. Its growth strategy
includes both organic initiatives as well as continuing to make
additional strategic acquisitions. This is truly a great opportunity for
a senior executive to become part of a successful company and lead it
through the next level of growth.
The ideal candidate will have the following background and attributes:
• Demonstrable experience in the defense industry, with established
relationships throughout the relevant segments of the U.S. defense and
political community.
• Security clearance of at least “Secret” level, preferably “Top
Secret.”.
• Credentials and experience in managing defense companies of comparable
size (300-500 employees).
• Experience in managing foreign-owned defense companies operating under
Special Security Agreement or a proxy board situation.
Our client is a holding
company. The President will be directly overseeing the activities of its
three activities in the U.S.:
• Manufacturing activity in New England.
• Project Management and supply chain activities in Washington, D.C.
• Independent sales and
marketing activities by a privately held company which provides our
client with sales and marketing services, as well as business
development services in the U.S..
