Head of Human Resources

The Onstott Group has been retained to recruit a successful and exceptionally well-qualified Head of Human Resources for a leading supplier of enterprise quality management software. We are seeking a highly professional, experienced leader who will play a significant role in contributing to the company’s future growth.

 

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for directing all facets of the human asset side of the company. This will include all normal human resources functions such as staffing, succession planning, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and administration. Assisting the Head of Human resources is a full time professional Human Resources staff member.

 

The candidate will have broad and deep human resource leadership experience in a technology company, and will have successfully dealt with the challenges of rapid growth. This individual will be a seasoned and professional executive with a solid track record.

 

The selected candidate will have:


• Broad experience in Human Resources that will include organizational development, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development and administration.


• Proven leadership position in a Human Resources function within a high-growth technology company with revenues upwards of $50 million.


• A minimum of seven to ten years of senior level human resources experience.

Vice President of Sales

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the development of a successful key account focused sales strategy that is aligned with the overall vision and business strategy of the corporation. The Vice President of Sales is accountable for achieving the bookings and margin goals of the corporation, as well as managing all sales personnel, both direct and independent representatives.

 

Required Skills:


• Has taken a company in revenues from $10-$15MM to a minimum of $50-60M.


• Must have experience in selling into the Primes as well as OEM customers.


• Previous embedded systems or related industry experience.

 

• Should have experience in manufactured electro-mechanical systems.

 

• Sales to military contractors and suppliers.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of the network services business having full P&L responsibility as well as engaging in customer facing activities.

 

The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record of 15 years in managing business with a leadership role within a small or mid-sized company or as a divisional/general manager in a larger organization. The candidate must have P&L experience and come from a product management background in a technology company or from the broadcast media industry.

 

Additional skills, experiences and personal qualities include:


• Experience in building and leading a services business with the ability to work in an increasingly global environment.


• Strong sales and operational skills with proven ability to manage high-maintenance clients across multi-year contracts.


• Knowledge of the broadcast (“On-Air”) market dynamics; operational exposure required.

 

• Solid understanding of technology.

Vice President of Manufacturing

We have been retained to recruit a professional and highly experienced Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for a central Connecticut manufacturer of ruggedized products for DoD (Navy, Army), marine, petro-chemical and nuclear power industries.

 

The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations primary purpose is to manage the manufacturing operations of this two business unit company, optimizing capacity, execution, quality, delivery and cost. The successful candidate will initiate significant performance improvement within the manufacturing division. This position has a high degree of shop floor presence and requires hands-on involvement with critical operations issues. This position reports to the CEO and is responsible for manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, procurement and quality control.

 

Our Client seeks an individual who will be a strategic agent of change, bringing a new vitality and professionalism to the manufacturing operations while overseeing planned volume increases.

 

In order to be considered the candidate must posses the following:


• 12 -15 years of progressive experience dealing directly with manufacturing operations with a manufacturing company producing products for DoD and/or petrochemical industries.


• Experienced in a low to medium-volume lean manufacturing environment.


• Strong background in materials management, outsourcing and procurement.

 

• Strong financial acumen, full understanding of accounting, P&L, balance sheet.


• Ability to interface with Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Program Management.


• Solid experience in scheduling.
