The Onstott Group has been retained to recruit a seasoned Chief Operating Officer for a rapidly growing, privately held technology company.

The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and lead a worldwide team in excess of 1000 people including field and headquarters personnel.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the company, freeing the Chief Executive Officer to focus on strategic initiatives.

• Meeting financial and EBITA targets.

• Overseeing continuous improvement – refining the processes and procedures and improving productivity and quality standards; reducing costs, creating continuous improvement teams and taking business to the next level.

The Chief Operating Officer will have been part of a successful team that has significantly grown as an organization and will have the leadership skills to lead, direct and manage growth.

• Heavy International experience.

• Experience with a company that has large call center operations.

• Profit and Loss responsibility for a growing company.

• Technically savvy and data-focused.

Our client designs and manufactures highly engineered products for the defense industry.

We've been retained by a foreign-owned parent company to recruit a seasoned and proven President for North America. The President will report to the CEO and Board of Directors (all based overseas) and have a tremendous amount of autonomy.

This is a P&L role (not simply a head of sales); our client has multiple manufacturing facilities established in the U.S. Its growth strategy includes both organic initiatives as well as continuing to make additional strategic acquisitions. This is truly a great opportunity for a senior executive to become part of a successful company and lead it through the next level of growth.

The ideal candidate will have the following background and attributes:
• Demonstrable experience in the defense industry, with established relationships throughout the relevant segments of the U.S. defense and political community.
• Security clearance of at least "Secret" level, preferably "Top Secret."
• Credentials and experience in managing a manufacturing company of comparable size (300-500 employees).
• Experience in managing foreign-owned defense companies operating under Special Security Agreement or a proxy board situation.

Our client is a holding company. The President will be directly overseeing the activities of its three activities in the U.S.:
• Manufacturing activity in New England.
• Project Management and supply chain activities in Washington, D.C.
• Independent sales and marketing activities by a privately held company which provides our client with sales and marketing services, as well as business development services in the U.S.

All three operations are currently reporting to our client's CEO and the objective is to have them report to the new President.
